A size/font command before a newline can change the height of the line on which it occurs. It is the smallest point size that can be printed on newsprint and remain legible. An Agate font was commonly used to display statistical data or legal notices in newspapers. It can refer to either the height of a line of type, or to a font that is 5.5 points. Depending on the amount that the letters like 'd' ascend from the x-height, the 'd' may very well be 3/8 of an inch at 27 points, while a plain 'c. floating point color values are used for the window, the uint8 color values are automatically converted to the 0.0-1.0 range. An agate is 5.5 typographical points, or about 1/14 of an inch.
